We deliver our Teslas with the appropriate summer or winter tires depending on the season. In these few cases, we will of course organize the tire change for you as soon as the next summer/winter is approaching.

The excess amount can be reduced to €1,000, €500 or €0. Corresponding daily prices per option will be sent to you for selection in the confirmation.

In addition to comprehensive liability insurance, our vehicles are fully comprehensive insured with an excess amount of €1,000 or €2,000 per claim, depending on the category.

Please inform us immediately of any damage, otherwise the insurance cover will lapse and we may have to charge you for the damage. We will of course take care of settling the claim with the insurance company and our workshop network.

Vehicle wear and tear, such as tires, are already included in your rental price. Signs of wear and tear such as minor scratches on door handles or in the interior are also included. Additional costs are incurred if we have to repair damage before we can give the car to the next customer. This means that dents that need to be pressed out, scratches that need to be painted or stone chips that need to be repaired will be charged for. For damage that we can settle via insurance, such as replacing the windshield, the corresponding excess is charged per claim.

Traffic tickets are first sent to us and we forward them to you immediately. In the event of a reminder, the responsible authority will contact you.

The rental vehicle may only be used in the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg.

The registration of additional drivers is free of charge. Please include the additional drivers in your request. Please note that additional drivers must also be at least 18 or 25 years old and have held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years. The driver's license must also be a driver's license recognized in the EU.

You can rent the Model 3 and Model Y from the age of 18. Only the Performance Models require a minimum age of 25.

With us, you have the choice of renting a vehicle with or without a power package.

If you rent a vehicle with electricity included, you can use Tesla's fast-charging network with its Superchargers throughout Europe, including Switzerland.

If you rent a vehicle without a power package, you can decide for yourself where you want to charge the vehicle, e.g. at home at your own socket or other charging networks with your own charging cards. You are also welcome to use the Tesla fast charging network, but the charging processes are billed directly between you and Tesla, as with the other charging options.

According to § 21 passenger transportation, children older than 12 years or taller than 150 cm do not require a child seat. You can find more information on the legal situation in Germany here. You can rent child seats from Veltyx depending on the weight of your child.

• Infant seat: 0-13kg are for children up to 2 years.

• Child seat: 0-18kg are for children up to 5 years.

• Booster seat: 15-36kg are for children up to 12 years.

Abroad

• In Austria, the law is interpreted in a similar way to Germany. The critical age here is 14 years.

• In Switzerland, the law is defined in almost the same way as in Germany. The regulations for child seats have been tightened here in recent years.

• In Spain, the law differs with regard to the critical height. This has been defined as 135 cm.

• In Italy, the age limit and the height limit are defined in the same way as in Germany.

• In Greece, the age and height limits are defined in the same way as in Germany.
