Robotaxi & Cybercab: Tesla’s Push for Autonomous Driving
In June 2025, Tesla will launch its robotaxi pilot project ‘Cybercab’ in Austin, Texas. Initially, modified Model Y vehicles equipped with the new Unsupervised FSD software will be used. The specially developed Cybercab model—without a steering wheel or pedals—is expected to follow in 2026. Tesla also plans to integrate private vehicles into its autonomous network. Veltyx will offer FSD technology as soon as it is approved in Germany.
